SVA Membership is for anyone at any stage of their business, whether you are just thinking of becoming a VA or whether you are taking your business to the next level.

Both membership levels include access to the Members Facebook Group – a group for VAs only, our monthly newsletter, and you get an SVA  logo to put on your website.

Membership is £15 for Community Members and £15 per year for SVA Approved Members, this helps to cover basic costs involved in running the SVA.

Membership Information

SVA Approved Membership is for VAs who have either been in business for over 1 year or been a Community Member for 3 months. SVA Approved Members must abide by all the terms of the SVA’s Code of Practice.  Our Code of Practice falls in line with Industry Best Practice, and you can read about that here. We review our criteria regularly to stay up to date with industry practices SVA Membership costs £15 per year, this helps us to cover all our basic running costs. Please ensure you meet all the criteria before filling in the form and that you answer all the questions - A refund will not be given if an application is made and questions have not been answered or if the criteria is not met, as it takes our team time to process each form, thus creating an admin cost.

SVA Approved Membership Form

Once you are approved, we ask that you display our logo on your website, pointing back to https://www.societyofvirtualassistants.co.uk on your website. We will send you the logo in your approval email. Please do not display an SVA Approved Logo until you are officially approved.

We only accept applications from within the UK and UK territories.

Mailing address on website (please read the below before responding): Sole traders do not need to display their address on their websites and do not need to answer this question. For example, you work with neurodiverse clients, A2W clients or you work with industries such as HR, education, property, recruitment, etc.
