SVA Newsletter: June 2012
Not much sign of Summer here – mind you traditionally our Summer in Scotland lasts precisely two days around exam time! So if you aren’t sneaking away to top up your tan, what should be on your To Do List whilst it’s quiet? Well, have a look at what’s dropped off the bottom of your To Do List, there’s usually a few tasks lurking there!
I’m really excited about the SVA Big Meet – hope to “see” you there!

The SVA Blog Hop went really well – we had some great feedback on the blogs and hopefully you’ll have some new reading material to gain ideas and insights into your business.
Hopefully some of you made it to Sarah Cruikshank’s “Hosting a Webinar” session yesterday? It’s a fantastic skill to be able to offer your clients. We’ve also listed VA Magazine/Executive Secretary’s #AdminChat tweetup – it’s every Thursday!
Lastly, I’m thrilled to announce the SVA Big Meet Launch – a little while ago we ran a series of small meet ups across the country as part of Global VA Week. The collaborations which sparked from those simple coffee shop meets are exactly what SVA is all about – I’m still getting emails telling me about how it helped VAs in their businesses two years on! We’re going to be capturing the essence of that at an online conference held in September – there will be guest speakers, online workshops and online networking sessions. More details will be released over the coming months, but suffice to say, I’m very excited about it! Tickets are limited to 50 – get yours now!
